A 32-inch model is relatively small as TVs go these days, but a nice bonus to a smaller TV is that you don’t need as high a resolution to achieve great pixel density. At this size most of the difference between the 720p resolution you’re getting and 1080p (and certainly 4K) is lost to the naked eye, so from a value standpoint you’re getting solid clarity for your dollar. It’s also LED-backlit, so it will be thinner and more power efficient than the CCFL LCD units you may be used to seeing on models at this price point.
This Sharp TV has a 3000000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, optical picture control, and enhanced noise reduction, providing a very nice overall picture. There’s a pair of 5W speakers with simulated surround sound too.
You’ll be able to hook up your standard peripherals in the 2 HDMI ports, as well as the component/composite, VGA and USB ports. There’s also a headphone jack and two audio line-in ports. This TV includes your usual ATSC and QAM built-in digital tuners as well.
Many HDTVs at this price will be refurbished, but this one isn’t, and you get the full one-year manufacturer’s warranty with your purchase. All together, this is a great total value for a 32-inch name brand LED backlit HDTV, so long as you are OK with it being 720p
